The New Family of ROVs from Benthos

Intern Program

Spend a semester or a summer working side-by-side with some of the

leading business managers and engineers in the marine industry. Our facility in North Falmouth, Massachusetts is an active and creative work environment where industry leading technology is developed and manufactured.

The Teledyne Benthos Intern Program

Our program is created with you in mind. Benthos is always interested in finding talented people who have the skills required to meet our future employment needs. Our intern program is designed to help recruit and attract exceptional individuals to a broad spectrum of occupations within Benthos. The program offers interns professional experiences and formal training opportunities that are tailored to meet their educational and professional goals and interests.

Engineering Program

For consideration in this program, students should be enrolled in the following fields of study : Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Manufacturing Engineering.Interns in the Engineering Program are assigned to a department within Teledyne Benthos based on their background. Their assigned departments at Benthos include:

  • Acoustic Modems
  • ROV – Remotely Operated Vehicles
  • Manufacturing – All product lines

Projects will be determined by the manager depending on skill level and duration of employment. Most projects will include working closely with Teledyne engineers in the test and development of new products.

Students will also be exposed to Teledyne Benthos’ Knowledge Based Product Development process. You will learn about how we are focusing on early testing to eliminate knowledge gaps before we stipulate specifications and start the formal design process.

  • The opportunity to acquire specific skills that are needed to pursue their professional goals and aspirations.
  • The opportunity for hands-on work experience in their field of study.

The Teledyne Benthos Intern Program provides an opportunity to earn money and continue your education, to train with people who work in the marine industry, and to combine your academic study with on-the-job experience.

40 hours per week

Must be U.S. Citizen or have Green Card

Salary based on college level

Start and Stop dates flexible

All internship employees are employed using an outside Temp Agency
